Relational Empowerment Course

Practical deepening course for educators and relators aimed at empowering and enhancing the professionality of those who are engaged in groups management and learning paths.

N. 1 Continuous learning and its different forms 

  • actualization choices and strategies
  • formation needs analysis
  • formation processes and their different types ( institutional, on order, on campaigns…) and different ways to perform the needs analysis,
  • read the organizations and understand the processes: types of organizations and their typical structure

    N. 2 Role of the class-group (in) formation 
  • group function: individual needs, relational processes (group personality and specificity),
  • group as a lever for the complex learning,
  • individual roles in a group, membership and leadership,
  • crucial factor for a group dynamics;
  • ease group dynamics,
  • group cooperation, goals, methods and rules,
  • group animation, active/expressive presence techniques of the trainer,
  • “hard” groups or students

    N. 3 Effective communication
  • different types of listening,
  • communication media,
  • how to improve communication: unison and dystonia, retrace and guide,
  • emotional tuning,
  • communication barriers, mental and emotional filters,
  • training and techniques for public speaking,
  • collective persuasion principles,
  • educational speaking (how to teach a lesson discovering its strong and weak points).

    N. 4 Educational action planning

Course preparation:

  • educational needs analysis: methods and tools
  • preparation for an educational action: the initial brief
  • models for planning an educational action
  • from the educational purpose to specific goals
  • formulation, characteristics and functions of the educational goals
  • contents design – Design by skills
  • set up and manage a budget for educational projects
  • management of different activities in an educational project: from the formative agreement, to the stage, to the complement actions.
    SEMINAR
    N. 5 Class management
  • how to teach a lesson in a class: verbal language, non-verbal communication, control the space properly (use of proxemics), synergy of expressive levels,
  • style management: obstructing or facilitating attitudes,
  • how to involve, answer to questions, manage the objections, face and manage crucial moments with the students, manage efficiently time and stress,
  • the lesson: main concepts and expositive manners,
  • organization of the lesson plan, inductive, deductive or for problems paths,
  • methods and techniques,
  • feedback, monitoring and evaluation.
